Diary - Mile 2653.

Canada!

Some days start with a terminus. Some terminuses are not what, when or where you expect them to be. But hey, if life went all as expected it’d be a telenovela and let’s face it, we’d all rather watch “Game of Thrones”, even knowing that bad things are going to happen to our favorite characters.

A wooden monument at the end of your trail tells no more about your hike than a gravestone about your life. It merely denotes the fact, not the substance. The latter is in you and people who were around.

So adjust your expectations and hobble on!
